Australia now Lights Up – Kuala Lumpur!
Australia now: Lights Up is a dazzling light show projected onto the Australian High Commission building in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Lights Up is the centrepiece of the Australia now Malaysia program, running from 7:30pm to 11:30pm every night from 20 – 30 January 2022.

Elevating relationships – Australian Foreign Minister visits Malaysia
Australia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Women, Marise Payne recently visited Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia to advance relationships with key partners, strengthening our shared work in promoting the region’s economic and health recovery from COVID-19.
In Malaysia, Minister Payne co-chaired the Australia-Malaysia Annual Foreign Ministers’ Meeting with Malaysia’s Foreign Minister, the Hon. Dato’ Saifuddin bin Abdullah – the first since our relationship was elevated to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) in January 2021.

Australia now 2021 will celebrate our links with Malaysia
In welcoming Malaysian Foreign Minister the Hon Dato’ Saifuddin Abdullah on his first visit to our shores as Foreign Minister, the Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Senator the Hon Marise Payne, said that she was very proud to announce Malaysia as the 2021 focus country for Australia’s flagship public diplomacy program.
